Sunday morning, everyone will find a note under their door.

You are cordially invited to a movie marathon in the entertainment room! Come and go as you please!
After everything we've been through the last week, it would be nice to have a group activity where we can all relax, especially for Tails, Sonic, and Knuckles.
Our list of movies includes:
Shrek
Shrek 2
Jupiter Ascending
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Extended Edition)
...and movies of your choice!

Bring snacks, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude! ☺

Yes, this is handwritten and copied for each and every person here. Or, at least each and every room.

The entertainment room itself has not been decorated or anything—this was not planned with that much foresight—but the chairs and couches have all been arranged so they're close together for maximum occupancy and maximum movie theater imitation. Some people will probably have to cuddle up on the floor against couches or find some beanbags or something, but it'll be cozy!

An amount of popcorn, soda, and candy have been provided, but you will probably need to restock at some point, especially if you're staying for the whole marathon!

[ Yves is trying. He is trying! So HARD to pay attention. It's not a bad movie by any means! It really feels like a fantasy book brought to life, and when/if he ever learns how movies are made, he surely can appreciate the effort and care put into the direction.

HOWEVER. Compared to the other movies, there sure are a lot of... slower moments. Truly an extended edition And dialogue that doesn't quite make sense to him the first time. So a good ways into it, Yves has curled up with a throw pillow on his end of the couch. When the movie has a particularly loud sfx or the soundtrack swells to a crest, he perks up but weakly... ]

I-I'm awake...!

[ But otherwise... he snoozin'. ]

[plushes]

Percy had stepped out for a snack, but then he sees Yves trying to be Innocent and he can't help but walk over. ]

Uh-huh. Sure.

[ He sits next to Yves and wordlessly holds out a bowl with chips towards him. ]

[noirge]

[ He contemplates, takes a chip... then lets his shoulder lean onto Percy's. ]

I'm kinda surprised this movie has so much... movie? I though it would be over soon.

[plushes]

Yeah, it sure does.

[ But it's Ashley's favorite, so he's really trying his best to pay attention...and he casually lets his (good) arm hook around Yves'. ]

Kinda wish there was a little more fighting.

[noirge]

[ Aww... Please tell him the best parts to him, Yves would feel really bad for nodding off through it. ]

Yeah, but there's a lot to explain, I guess. Like all the expository stuff in books put into movie form.

[ Much word building. Many dialog. He feels very cozy though. ]

...I think I liked the Shrek movies the best.

[plushes]

Heh, really? Me too. Those were hilarious!

[ do not perceive he and VA making horrible puns up above.... ]

Is it because of the jokes? Or the romance?

[noirge]

Both. The conversations are so lively, you know they're friends who really care.

[ The pop culture stuff flies over his head, but he has the funny arguments and visual comedy. ]

I... liked the romance too. They were happy as themselves...

[plushes]

[ Oh? ]

Well...yeah. They like each other for who they are, it's true.

[ He tilts his head. ]

That's something you want, isn't it?

[ AW... Well, Ashley really couldn't have expected anything different, putting it so late in the marathon, after so many of them haven't had good nights of sleep...

But still! The orchestra is booming and Ashley looks over Yves with a small pout. ]

I don't believe you. I saw your eyes closed for, well...for most of Rivendell.

[noirge]

[ Oh, he'd feel pretty guilty knowing Ashley loves this movie. But for right now, he just thinks it's got a good flow to it... he could close his eyes and still know what's going on... it's only for a moment! ]

I saw the first part! It's really pretty... And they were definitely safe.

The ambience just makes you feel so relaxed, you know?

[ She lets out a huff that turns into a sigh. ]

I guess... But you're gonna miss some big things if you keep closing your eyes, you know! There're about to really start the journey.

[noirge]

A-are they?

[ He tilts his head into the cushion he's holding. It's starting... But they're pretty far into the movie, aren't they? He's not gonna make it...! ]

This is a... long movie.

It is...b-but, I mean- I guess I've seen it so many times, it doesn't really feel as long, anymore.
