Sunday morning, everyone will find a note under their door.

You are cordially invited to a movie marathon in the entertainment room! Come and go as you please!
After everything we've been through the last week, it would be nice to have a group activity where we can all relax, especially for Tails, Sonic, and Knuckles.
Our list of movies includes:
Shrek
Shrek 2
Jupiter Ascending
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Extended Edition)
...and movies of your choice!

Bring snacks, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude! ☺

Yes, this is handwritten and copied for each and every person here. Or, at least each and every room.

The entertainment room itself has not been decorated or anything—this was not planned with that much foresight—but the chairs and couches have all been arranged so they're close together for maximum occupancy and maximum movie theater imitation. Some people will probably have to cuddle up on the floor against couches or find some beanbags or something, but it'll be cozy!

An amount of popcorn, soda, and candy have been provided, but you will probably need to restock at some point, especially if you're staying for the whole marathon!

Yes, though like I said, they look nothing like the ones in this movie here. Those honestly look a bit more like grublins who have fallen upon extremely hard times.

Ah... well, they are small green monsters who tend to be more of a nuisance than anything, really, even when armed. Perhaps I should get some paper to demonstrate...

[hmmm. he doesn't want to stop watching the movie, though...]

Oh, no, don't do that! These movies are quite good.

[He gestures emphatically.]

[This is a movie party, after all!!]

Fine, fine. I shall wait until this is all over. Do remind me in the event that I get too absorbed and forget, will you?

Really though, all of our monsters are far more charming than the ones on display here. I suppose that is the intent, but still.

I'm sure it's quite mundane for you, but I find that fascinating.

[He gestures towards the movie.]

Monsters like these only exist in the realm of stories. I am only familiar with my own universe, but the similarities are rather unexpected.

It is interesting, is it not? I suppose none of us can really complain that we lack for new things to learn about. What is mundane for you is equally fascinating to me, I would imagine.

It's been an interesting experience, speaking with people thus far. I wouldn't mind seeing some of your worlds, if I'm being honest.

[But oooh, look at that fight scene! He's distracted now.]

I suppose we will have to ask Sonic if he is willing to let us visit each other's worlds, then. It will probably require finding a number of rings, but the biggest issue with that has generally been... other obstacles.

It does seem that the rings are incredibly finite.

[Which is a shame. He wants to see the cute monsters??]

All the more reason to collect more, so they can be put to use once our work here is finished.

They may be finite, but I suppose we can be glad that they do not seem to be anything like that ring.

[he gestures at the screen, because haha. this IS kind of a funny choice.]

Perhaps it's frightening because it's such a mundane artifact?]

Fortunate our rings are used for teleportation, I suppose.

Indeed. Invisibility sounds like a fine power, but I believe the teleportation has less... drawbacks.

Yes, the ring in this film comes with some rather severe drawbacks.

[Maybe the rings they've been collecting do, too, but he hasn't seen a sign of that yet.]

I can't imagine someone trying to wear one of the rings we've been finding, so there's that, I suppose.
