Week 1 - Midweek Meeting Mingle
[ It's been a few days now. Everyone is fairly certain of that, even despite the lack of day/night cycle in space. For better or for worse, the sight of the other chosen has become familiar to everybody. Yet, the group still lacks cohesion. At the very least a certain extremely pink person among you all thinks this way.
At some point today, everyone will have been tapped by Shizuka (or people who could easily be convinced to play errand boy for him) to come meet around the Terminal for some much-needed strategizing. Refreshments are not provided, it's strictly Bring Your Own Rations.
The important thing here is getting together and exchanging info, which Shizuka is going to at least try and facilitate. He steps up and adjust his glasses. His tone is somewhere between serious and haughty, which anyone who's spoken to him will recognize as his default voice. ]
Good afternoon [ he has decided it's afternoon ] and thank you for coming.
It's come to my attention that most of you don't have any prior experience with being a chosen superhero, and that - perhaps even more pressingly - our original realities vary quite drastically from each other.
Milling about like headless chickens is getting us nowhere fast, so let's get some basic introductions and strategizing over with, shall we?
((ooc: to streamline things a little, there are sub-headers for different discussion subjects. feel free to add your own if something isn't covered yet!))

[he thinks about it.]
Well, in both cases you do need to have someone who is actually the brains of the operation...
no subject
Oh? Another volunteer?
We have so many willing individuals today. How fortunate!
no subject
No.
[MGRGRGR.]

A bit cranky, aren't you?
Well, I could have certainly said far worse by now, hm?

I didn't bother volunteering myself for that very reason.
[ Lead the tiring leadership duties to someone else! ]

[which like. respect...?]

Oh, you're not wrong at all. Even I would have also seen the benefits in indulging in a 'snack' just like anyone else, though I am easily doing just fine without.
...There is also something infinitely satisfying to enjoying the show - not always, of course. But, at a time like this? Certainly.
Why, if you had the chance to observe some conversations, there could be some amusing tidbits to catch sight of.

A good question, Sir Jasper.
Yet, I must confess...there is nothing so logical nor feasible as only remaining as such during the entirety of this "experience".
We are all here to "save" this pitiful world, thus this place has already forced us all into a state of action rather than allowing us to truly embrace the role of the observer. [ ... ] After all, have you witnessed some of those lingering mindless creatures waltzing around? Quite a nuisance, really.
Due to the nature of others, I can enjoy such a status purely during a meeting.
As for you - you will most certainly consider yourself more inclined towards being a man of action, yes?

Oh, certainly. There are quite a number of fools out there who can't bother to know when to make the correct timing between either choices...but, well.
Those who do typically end up surviving quite a bit longer.

Unfortunately.
