FINAL CONFRONTATION
Throughout this week, you all have been hard at work preparing for your final confrontation with the person behind all of this - Neo Metal Sonic. His fleet of ships has taken over the skies, and Tails has been working on a means to get you safely onto the correct one. Given that you've all been called into the workshop today, it seems like it's finally time.
"I've got the correct coordinates and we're ready to go. We'll all be joining you in this fight."
Sonic nods and continues, "Let's avoid a repeat of last time, yeah? I'm still going to try to keep his attention on me since the plan is still the same - you guys have gotta knock the Master Emerald outta him!"
"You all have had some practice with your powers and with what the Master Emerald can do, so you should be better prepared for this fight. Still, remain on guard!"
Tails flicks the device to life and a portal opens. Unlike the rings, this one doesn't show where exactly you'll be going. "Everyone ready? Let's put an end to this."
You arrive in the interior of one of those ships - the long hallway you're in is made of thick, dark silver steel, with absolutely nothing in the way of dΓ©cor. The way behind you leads to a door - gated shut, with seemingly no way to open it from this side - while the path ahead of you leads up a small flight of stairs to what can only be described as a throne. It is simplistic in design and still made of that dark, practical steel without any adornments or embellishments, but it provides Neo Metal Sonic a height advantage to loom over you, something he couldn't really manage on most of you without taking to floating.
He sits in the chair now, red eyes fixed on all of you. One elbow is propped on the arm of the chair and his chin leans against his hand, giving off the air of "bored monarch" that he's probably going for.
"So you've arrived. You've kept me waiting."
He gets up then, rising to float as he had before, sparks of that familiar green Chaos Energy flaring to life around him. "Let's not waste any more time. I'll destroy you all here and now. And you," his eyes flick to Sonic, "will trouble me no further."
"Does it even really count when I'm not the version of Sonic you've fought before...?"
"Silence." Sonic shrugs and Neo Metal Sonic dismisses him, turning his attention back to you all. "You all have caused enough problems for me. Once I've crushed you all, nothing will be able to stop me."
ROUND 3
Which yes, means that Fukuda (x3), Percy, Wolfwood, Viktor, and Raven are being struck by lightning - if they can't dodge it, anyway.
The trio of Diamonds are going to immediately be intercepted by hoards of flying robots - seems like they came from one of the ships below you guys, and they are serving as obstacles to actually getting closer to Metal Madness. They're easy enough to defeat, but you'll need to spend this round cutting through them, and the ships below have plenty more of them. Oh, and they explode once they're defeated, which will cause a small amount of damage for each one defeated. You'll want to watch your HP.
And of course, here's another two waves of Chaos Energy hitting everyone (x2) for undodgeable damage.]

using sunday's power, mafuyu lands lightly on one of the ships, and sings- it's a melancholy song, and yet it is a refusal to give up, even in the face of persecution, of despair, of death. and it grants a hella buff, yes. )

Long-range was typically Jinx's style, but everyone's doing that and it's boring. Jinx is furious and she's heading straight for Metal.
With a (14) to fly through the obstacle filed Metal Madness was generating, Jinx is practically a blue (and violet) blur across the sky. She gets clipped, hard by Metal's Chaos Waves (2) but right now, she's too angry to care.
She's going for a direct strike, a spinning dash if you will, straight at the monster's midsection.]

[ Percy takes a swing at the metal robots, and he orders his bear to do the same after dodging the lightning (15). He'll keep thrashing about. ]

The effect is hampered by the iridescent rainbow glow and all-white outfit she's picked up, which seems to have. Caused a sneezing fit that kept her from participating in the first two rounds, apparently? Turns out she's literally allergic to color. ]
... I suppose this is meant to say something about how much I've changed.
[ Anyway, Super Wednesday (Thursday?) is going to flamethrower her way through some robots to keep them from exploding on her. ]

While the power is foreign to her, Dorothy is going to attempt to draw upon the power dearly beloveds, attempting if nothing else to see if she can't make Metal Madness a little more sluggish in movement with the bubble and amplify the damage of everyone else--it's going to require some concentration on her part, but she doesn't feel confident enough to dive in at her own crystal yet.
She can help the others, though. There's no I in team, and Dorothy wants to be a team player this time.]

[He weaved past the lightning bolt(14), taking the first shockwave hit before summoning a shield as he started to get a little closer; the second shockwave struck it, unleashing a burst of lasers in counterattack he made an attempt at directing towards the swarming robots.]

I see! You heard I've been killed by lightning before and figured you'd need to hit me extra hard for it to make a difference! Jokes on you, because I'm stronger than Anaido! He doesn't have a hole, you see!!
[He's a little incoherent, possibly because of the electrocution.
Anyway, he's going to generate a gravity well to try and draw some of the robots out of the diamonds' path. Get lost, robots.]

Those reinforcements might become a problem, though. So he chooses to focus his and his duplicates's attacks this round on one of the ships below with reinforcement robots. pew pew. ]

He figures that since the others already have offense handled, he should try supporting them. Recalling the shardbond with Mafuyu, Lark calls forth a winter thunderstorm. Enemies will roll with disadvantage to attack and take damage over time, and allies will roll with advantage to dodge for the next three turns. Just, hopefully no one minds snow and thunder. ]

He shifts his bow into a blade for this turn and slices into the air, sending massive crescents of light into the robot swarms.]

Anyway, if they closer to the Emerald crystal, and then try to like go invisible by refraction of light or whatnot and other techniques from shards, they're going to next hope it's enough to keep Metal Madness from being able to do anything about an apparently large light blade coming down on it. ]

of course, he's well aware of what that means in terms of putting himself in danger. but, true to being a multitasker, wolfwood will also fire some light beams at neo from the closer range. (while maybe keeping tabs on what happens if he lingers closer to the onyx colored gem.) something something, you gave him "god mode" and he's just going to fight recklessly. the man can heal himself while taking damage (again) so why worry about what that'll mean for him after? everyone is able to heal themselves now so he's allow to gamble a bit more. ]
