FINAL CONFRONTATION
Throughout this week, you all have been hard at work preparing for your final confrontation with the person behind all of this - Neo Metal Sonic. His fleet of ships has taken over the skies, and Tails has been working on a means to get you safely onto the correct one. Given that you've all been called into the workshop today, it seems like it's finally time.
"I've got the correct coordinates and we're ready to go. We'll all be joining you in this fight."
Sonic nods and continues, "Let's avoid a repeat of last time, yeah? I'm still going to try to keep his attention on me since the plan is still the same - you guys have gotta knock the Master Emerald outta him!"
"You all have had some practice with your powers and with what the Master Emerald can do, so you should be better prepared for this fight. Still, remain on guard!"
Tails flicks the device to life and a portal opens. Unlike the rings, this one doesn't show where exactly you'll be going. "Everyone ready? Let's put an end to this."
You arrive in the interior of one of those ships - the long hallway you're in is made of thick, dark silver steel, with absolutely nothing in the way of dΓ©cor. The way behind you leads to a door - gated shut, with seemingly no way to open it from this side - while the path ahead of you leads up a small flight of stairs to what can only be described as a throne. It is simplistic in design and still made of that dark, practical steel without any adornments or embellishments, but it provides Neo Metal Sonic a height advantage to loom over you, something he couldn't really manage on most of you without taking to floating.
He sits in the chair now, red eyes fixed on all of you. One elbow is propped on the arm of the chair and his chin leans against his hand, giving off the air of "bored monarch" that he's probably going for.
"So you've arrived. You've kept me waiting."
He gets up then, rising to float as he had before, sparks of that familiar green Chaos Energy flaring to life around him. "Let's not waste any more time. I'll destroy you all here and now. And you," his eyes flick to Sonic, "will trouble me no further."
"Does it even really count when I'm not the version of Sonic you've fought before...?"
"Silence." Sonic shrugs and Neo Metal Sonic dismisses him, turning his attention back to you all. "You all have caused enough problems for me. Once I've crushed you all, nothing will be able to stop me."

...Therefore, some of those shots land (5), and where there might be red is nothing quite like that. It doesn't seem to hit to make a certain substance bubble up to the surface - but enough time, and anything is possible, right?
They aim to try to clock him in the face in return, smirking in defiance of this, though they feel an uncomfortable sensation twist within them as they realize what happened. Yet, it does not show on their face. Not yet. ]
You ask for far too much. How about I return "reason" to that empty head of yours? Surely you will appreciate it? This kind of knowledge I shall impart to you~

also let's not get into the part where wolfwood is being controlled to do the very things that he hates, so it's a good thing that their punch lands ( 7 ) and wolfwood takes it like a champ. not that it'll knock the sense out of him right away. ]
Is it really too much to ask? It's not like I'm askin' ya to shut up.
[ so, how about a few more shots as a treat! ]
I'm also not interested in anythin' ya have to teach me.
no subject
[ Most of the shots miss this time around (13), and the others that don't? Void Archives somehow timed a block with that metal from their glove, rendering the attempt moot. Which, well, is about time it worked out for them.
They then suddenly drop to the ground and swing a foot straight in a sweeping motion towards the other man's, aiming to try to unbalance Wolfwood so that he could meet with the ground. Aiming for a bigger shock, of course. ]
You may not be interested. But this time, I will insist. And I will make you learn what I have to offer.

Yer only makin' it a problem by bein' stubborn about it. [ more shots for funsies. ] 'nd if it's somethin' ya want me to hear so bad, then why not just say it?
Since when have ya been shy to talk my ear off?
no subject
Please, I wouldn't call myself shy. I can talk as freely as I choose and whenever I so desire, as much as I wish. Do also consider this pertinent fact:
There are only some lessons that can be learned with action, rather than with words. Even I understand that.
The question is, do you?
[ They try to pistol whip Wolfwood in the face. Hard. ]
no subject
hatefully, wolfwood doesn't trip over his own two feet as he still tries to keep some distance between the two of them ( 19 ) and is able to avoid being pistol whipped in the face ( 19 ) by them. ]
Oh, I'm aware of lessons that are taught by actions rather than words.
[ no shots this round since he's playing on the back foot at the moment. ]
The old man was probably a little enthusiastic about making sure that I learned my lessons about how ruthless people can be when yer facin' them in combat.
no subject
There is no finesse here but by god they are running out of options and they want him to sincerely shush right now. ]
You don't act like it. So pardon myself if I am quite uncertain of it.
[ Though, hearing Wolfwood speak upon his old man, and about enthusiastic about how he learned his lessons in combat makes an image flash back to what they saw. In Week 3. Perhaps that is what makes their movement more desperate, and they are no longer smiling. ]
This isn't just about ruthlessness, however.
I need you to return to yourself, you fool. Do me a favor and snap out of it already, won't you? Otherwise, I will have much to embarrass you with in terms of your insistence on letting this go for long by the time this is over.
