With Mecha Sonic, Robo Knuckles, and Tails Doll defeated, you've successfully kept Chicago safe, and dealt a blow to Eggman's forces. Still, there's a lot that's left unexplained. Who was that mysterious voice? Why did these robots look so different from the ones you've seen before now? Why didn't Sonic and friends recognize them? There's no answers to your questions today, unfortunately.

Though, I'm afraid I have already come to appreciate well your quick thinking, Sir Jasper. I observed a good deal of that in the initial fight...although, to be able to observe it once again shall truly be to our combined benefit. After all, I was already quite elated when you had the ingenuity to approach myself for our combination. I shall not be surprised to witness it again, in whatever capacity that may be.
...That being said, I was thinking about something - should we not come up with a name of some kind for the attack? Just for some fun? Ah, something like "Shadow Apocalypse", or perhaps "Twilight of the Fleeting Shade", or maybe somethin else entirely.

I am not entirely too fussed over the naming, so in the end I shall have to agree. Not only is there a benefit to it being straight to the point, but it sounds straight out of one of those animations.
