Sometime in the morning on Sunday, there are little notes that have been slipped under everyone's doors. Written in markers reads the following:

Let's celebrate getting Knuckles back at Olive Garden tonight at 6pm!!!!
Also I'm bored

…Yeah………but hey, at least these notes will be customized! Each note has two characters, but, uh, these might not be accurate to who's actually in the room. He doesn't know who everyone's roommates are, so he's just hoping for the best I guess. (Someone's note includes the new guy, More. Shizuka is also on one of these as a pink dolphin with glasses.)

Anyway, the Olive Garden seems to have some balloons floating around. With the current state of the residents, nobody seems to care! There are also chefs in the kitchen who will make whatever you ask, but pushing them around enough will get them to leave the kitchen to anyone who wants to make something. (Thank you Redd.) Drinks are available for everyone, alcohol and regular soft drinks alike, and really? The world is your oyster. … Olive? You get the drill.

[ The good thing here is that More hasn't talked to people in forever, and also is an eternally curious person - so he's actually enjoying this explanation even though he can only follow about half of it. He thinks Void Archives is interesting! Hurray! ]

I think it's related to where I am rather than anything intrinsic to my body. Akademeia was kept magically secluded, and not much could enter or exit it. It must have had properties that allowed it to keep me alive without basic bodily functions.

Now that I am free to walk under the open sky, I have returned to being a perfectly regular person.

What a strange place indeed, to be able to have such an effect on your person. Or perhaps rather than simply strange, it sounds quite fantastical.

[ There's a pause, as if they're considering something. Mainly the idea that this man was secluded off - and now he's achieved his own freedom. Yet, his memories have not fully recovered...they wonder what he will do at that time. Will he come to cherish what he has gained or become disdainful of it? The latter seems unlikely, though... ]

A strong element of magic must have indeed been present.

...Though, I wonder what you think now of having this chance to walk among people. Are you finding the experience thus far liberating?

[ Too busy with genuine appreciation for life and conversation to react to puns, tragically. ]

Too long have I spent my hours with only my own mind for company. No man can endure such solitude forever. My mind had been yearning for stimulation, for conversation with those different from myself. I feel an intense gratitude to be able to exchange stories with so many people from worlds entirely unlike my own.
