I'm used to having a rather intimate knowledge of these things. Turo was going to be one of those regional incidents, if he hadn't been killed.

He could have had power, I think. With the level of the machines he creates, he could have simply made himself wealthy and influential. I can imagine that being more satisfying for him than forcing people to comply in this way...but, clearly not.
