As if they're hooked up to something - is it those strange container-like mechanisms that can be seen in the room, glowing a strange crimson and providing one source of light?
Or is it the multitude of computers and other tech scattered across the room? It's hard to tell with so many of them. Either way, they give a derisive scoff at those words. ]
