Hmph...I would say that I've not a clue of what you speak of, but such ignorance does not suit one like myself.

[ Whatever the case, they're taking a moment to gaze intently again on the shard, to see if there are other elements that they may have missed.

Though, they do think that a better end would be one where Eggman himself isn't standing at all anywhere in the picture. But, that's the point to drive it home for him or any single one of them for him to be there at all in any single one of those visions. Whatever the case, they wouldn't be surprised that it troubles Wolfwood greatly - he has made no secret how important Vash is to him, after all. They just hadn't expected to hear that he's not present in any single one, and the way he sums it up... ]

How surprising. I would have thought that he'd have persisted in at least one. Even if these are meant to show elements of failure in a world.

[ And Wolfwood himself is there in them. So, wouldn't it make sense that Vash would have survived with him even in a world full of failure, bright as it is? Perhaps they're overthinking this matter again, but being what they are, that is common. ]

Could it be that he would be that much of a wall in such a foolish man's plans? That he could not be allowed to live in any such alternate world? Though, even so...I see you here, and I don't see you as someone who would easily bend to the will of such a man. But, then again, if these are aimed to bring pain, then perhaps all the logistics don't matter, hm? It is made to show to such a great extent how unfortunate such a failure could be, with his loss as a consequence in all of them.

...Not that I can imagine any single one of us allowing such instances to pass.
