Right, there's not like a whole bunch of the fossil Pokemon running around in the wild or anything.

But Dinosaurs are animals, which can't be trained or caught in the same way as Pokemon so it's worse, probably. Imagine a bunch of Aerodactyl and Tyrantrum running around but you can't put them in a pokeball, and you don't even have any other pokemon to defend against them.
