I certainly hope so. I have my doubts about him, but perhaps he can at least ensure that the two of us don't do anything undignified that we'll regret and have to exchange even more letters for in the morning. Surely he can manage that much...
But I suppose I cannot say I am surprised. He does unfortunately seem like the sort to take it personally that he wasn't invited along...truly, you suffer so much. Is he always like that? But I am glad that you were able to make it back alright nonetheless, and that you suffered no further indignities in doing so.
I'll be looking forward to it as well, however. Hopefully whatever we get thrown at us next doesn't ensure we're going to be drinking as heavily as last time?
